Hui Lee holds an honors Bachelor of Applied Science degree from University of Sciences, Malaysia (USM). She has been conferred as a qualified Patent Agent by the Malaysian Intellectual Property Office (MyIPO). She practices all aspects of intellectual property law across diverse technologies since year 2009. Her legal practice involves patent preparation and prosecution which include advising client on invention patentability according to national law, drafting patent specification, filing domestic & international application, as well as post-grant proceedings.

Prior to joining TEE IP, Hui Lee began her career working with a multinational OEM company in the semiconductor industry. As a quality assurance engineer, she was responsible for liaising with international clients such as Seagate and Western Digital. Thereafter, Hui Lee has made a career change into IP industry. She joined an IP Firm and assisted in setting up branch offices in different jurisdictions. A number of patent applications handled by her have been successfully granted a patent in Malaysia and oversea countries/regions including United States of America, Singapore, China, Europe, and etc. She achieved a high success rate in overcoming the office actions arose during examination, as well as assisting in patent infringement proceedings.

Hui Lee has also obtained WIPO certificates for several advanced courses including Arbitration and Mediation Procedure under the WIPO Rules, Intellectual Property Management, and Biotechnology and Intellectual Property.
